The fundamental operation is dependent on light sensitivity, electromagnetic waves in the visible region of the spectrum that is either emitted by an energy source or created by the reflection of things. The eye "shapes the light into a picture that is turned into nerve impulses and understood by the brain," according to Feldman (2019). A layer of tissue at the back of the eye called the retina contains unique cells called photoreceptors, which convert light into electrical impulses when it strikes the retina. The optic nerve carries these electrical signals from the retina to the brain. The visuals you see are then created by the brain from the signals.
I made the decision to go blindfolded and explore my homeroom to test how my other senses would perform. I made the decision to go more slowly out of fear that I could run into something and damage myself. When my mother relocated, I could tell precisely where she was by listening to her voice. I was able to get closer to that section of the living room since I could hear the autos and other sounds coming from that way as I did so. I don't usually pay too much attention to the sound of the vents, but in this instance, I could hear them clearly, and that's how I knew I needed to turn around since I was headed straight toward the walls……..Continue
