The focus of this paper is to detail the communication plan for the practicum project. To reduce or eliminate misunderstanding, a clear communication plan is essential (Harris & et. al., 2019). The communication plan details the project team members, preferred method or format for communication, timing, and reporting preparation responsibilities. This information will be presented in a chart format as appendix A at the end of this paper.
Communication and Formats
The communication plan for the Epic Reporting project will include the student, mentor, Perioperative Managers, and the Nursing Informaticist. The students preferred communication format has been established as email reports, in person and virtual meetings and messaging. The mentor prefers email reports, in person and virtual meetings, as well as messaging on a weekly basis.
