Final CGE PowerPoint Presentation Guidelines

Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to

·Provide learners with the opportunity to disseminate evidence-based practice to colleagues in the healthcare environment.

·Provide learners with the opportunity to communicate a scholarly project in a professional manner

Requirements

For this assignment you will prepare a PowerPoint presentation that is an update on the current status of your project. Imagine that you have been called upon to present your project to the senior leadership team of the organization that includes the CEO, CFO, CIO, CNO, and the VPs that report to those executives. You have been told that funding is available for only one project and yours is one of three projects eligible for approval and funding. Your instructor will evaluate your presentation from the perspective of the “C Suite” executives. There is a PPT template located above that will assist with the development of the presentation. You may use your organization’s background template if you would like.

·Minimum of 8-12 slides of text, excluding title and reference slides·1 title slide

·1-2 slides with references, in APA Style

·Documentation of all sources (everything must be cited including ideas, images, statistics, data, facts, quotations, all journal articles and other references, and/or summary or paraphrase of others’ ideas.

·Definition of key terms or explanation of relevant facts

·Extensive speaker notes, that resemble a script, should be included for all slides that are not title slides or reference list slides.
