Intervention and Evaluation Teaching Plan

The teaching plan is designed to provide an outline of the goals (long and short-term), the practicum site and the stakeholders involved in this teaching plan, and the Kurt Lewin’s Change Model to facilitate this research project. The goal of this project is split into two aspects, both long- and short-term, which has different phases. The long-term goal is carried out after departing from the practicum site, allowing the site to continue the research to determine the effectiveness of the intervention (simulated case studies). The short-term goal of this project is focuses on a single case study with a single class revolving around postpartum depression to determine if the students would achieve at least a 70% testing score. The practicum site is an undergraduate nursing institute that is preparing learners for the clinical settings of nursing with the students, professor, mentor, researcher, and department head being the stakeholders overseeing the project. The project will be implemented using the Kurt Lewin’s Theory of Change, as this is essential to effectively implement the research.
