Working bedside as a hematology/oncology nurse for three years helped me throughout this virtual encounter. I have seen many patients’ present with metastatic disease and compression fractures. This helped me to know which questions to ask and which physical exams to perform.
In future encounters I want to focus on selecting correct diagnostic tests, on iHuman there are several tests that are similar, but slightly different. The improvement strategy I plan to use in future encounters is defining the tests’ purpose. This will allow for utilization of a step wise approach to select the most appropriate test (Kosack et al.,2017).
