The presenter provided adequate disease background and did a good job of identifying the respected pathophysiology for both type I and type II diabetes. The epidemiology portion of the exam expounded upon the prevalence and incidence of this chronic illness in the US. The presenter also did a good job of linking socioeconomic status to incidence rates of diabetes. It is also worth mentioning that the presenter did an excellent job on providing key differences of clinical presentations of both type I and type II diabetes. |
