Over the course of this eight weeks, I have attained a higher level of knowledge regarding database design and implementation. Entering this course, my knowledge of databases was limited to my experience in utilizing databases, such as electronic medical records and reports generated from electronic medical record platforms. Having learned the stages of database development, I have a better understanding of how this process is executed. I acquired knowledge of E-R diagrams and relational tables, as well as primary keys and relational schema. I utilized analytic processes to refine my database, which was a new concept to me.
