Usability Assessment
A product's usability is determined by how effectively, efficiently, and satisfactorily it can be used by specific users for achieving specific goals in particular environments
(Khajouei & Farahani, 2020). This assignment will review the usability of the MDFlow care management information system, including its purpose and the length of time it has been in its current role. Usability questions formatted with the aid of Lowry et al. (2012) will be addressed to identify problems, or potential problems and provide recommendations for solutions. Lastly, insights gained from this assignment will be summarized.
MDFlow describes itself as “a premier Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) company” (MDFlow). This program is currently utilized for care management systems for a medicare advantage plan and has been in place for my company since November 2021. As a superuser of this program, I have additional insight into how this program functions as I have had additional training and aided the creators of our program to fix issues that were identified during our initial trial period.
