O.C. 2 y/o female presents to clinic with her mother for rash that started this morning. Rash started on abdomen and spread to extremities. Mother reports that patient had a fever, cough, and runny nose that started 3 days ago. Fever was 103F, Tylenol was given, and has resolved x 24 hours. Pt still has cough and runny nose. Mother has not given any other OTC or prescription medications for treatment of symptoms. Mother denies any known sick contacts or anyone with similar symptoms. O.C. lives with her mother and father in an apartment.
