The ihuman assignment this week had me engaged and I enjoyed completing this assignment.
Amanda had a common problem that will be seen and assessed frequently in clinical practice. I am aware that I ask too many questions regarding the HPI, with more training and practice I will hope to overcome this. I always feel as I will miss something that is relevant to the patient visit so I tend to ask irrelevant questions that do not pertain to the focused assessment and chief complaint. Now that I am self-reflecting, I am seeing that I am performing a comprehensive assessment when a focused assessment is needed in this case.
