Week 4 Discussion: Nursing Theory
1.) Identify your specialty area of NP practice.
My selected NP specialty is Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP).
2.) Select a nursing theory, borrowed theory, or interdisciplinary theory provided in the lesson plan or one of your own findings.
One theory that I find applicable in my NP specialty is McCormack and McCance’s Person-Centred Care Nursing (PCN) Framework.
3.) Address the following:

4.) Finally, provide an example how the theory could be used to improve or evaluate the quality of practice in your specific setting.
