Topic of this project: Identify causes of increased incidence of fall among chronic obstructive pulmonary disease exacerbation (ECOPD) patients and nursing interventions.

Nursing practice issue: Keeping patient’s safety while inpatient is a top priority for nurses. Although there are multiple fall prevention assessments performed every twelve hours, incidence of fall has continuously increased and the majority had diagnosis with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease exacerbation.
