Purpose:
Nurse Logic 2.0 is an interactive online tutorial that will review clinical judgment, QSEN Competencies and the Institute of Medicine (IOM) recommendations for nursing education and practice.
Preparing the Assignment:
- Use Firefox Browser for ATI access
- Log into your “My ATI Account”, Select "Learn” Tab, Click “Nursing Logic”
- Select “Nursing Concept”, Select “BEGINNER”
- Complete Nursing Concepts: BEGINNER module LESSON including Drills
- Complete Nursing Concepts: BEGINNER TEST
- The LESSON takes approximately ... for completion.
- Less than a minimum of 90 minutes for Lesson is Incomplete the Module
- Must complete the Module Lesson to earn any possible points
DIRECTIONS and ASSIGNMENT CRITERIA
- Actual points earned will be based on the percentage earned on the FIRST attempt multiplied by the total points possible.
- If you get 80 % of the questions correct, you will earn 20 points (80% x 25 points = 20)
- You are allowed to retake test ONLY ONE more time: 24-hour lock-out between attempts
- Additional percentage score based on SECOND attempt:
- Score between 90-100%: gain an additional 5% to first score
- Score between 79-89%: gain an additional 3% to first score
- Score less than 79%: gain NO additional percentage to first score
- Total score with additional points cannot be greater than 100%
Less than 79% on the FIRST attempt:
- You MUST submit a 150 word reflection on Three Clinical Points (Form is in FILES) based on the module topics that can be used in nursing practice. If reflection is NOT submitted BEFORE your second attempt, you will NOT receive points for additional attempts
- You may retake the module and test, after a 24 hour block out between attempts, to score additional points as follows above (Note: total score with additional points cannot be greater than 100%)
- Please note that your instructor may provide you with additional assessments in any form to determine that you fully understand the concepts learned in the review module.
