This week, I was assigned to a nurse named Akira from 7N. The unit that we got assigned in was at UF Health and it happened to be a COVID unit. It was interesting to see COVID patients who are on the medical surgical/progressive unit. The nurse I had to so nice and she allowed me to do a lot of the tasks that were needed to be done. She gave me report on all of her patients, she had four patients total. Throughout the shift, we ended up losing two patient (they got sent home).
