In the United States Heart disease is the leading cause of death. Heart disease when left untreated can cascade to a multitude of complications affecting your quality of life, causing debilitating effects or even death. Heart disease is projected that 1 out of every 5 deaths in America is related to heart disease. person this can be prevented by identifying what puts you at risk for heart disease and controlling those factors. This paper will help to identify the modifiable and unmodifable risk factors for heart disease. Provide education on prevention as well as treatment for heart disease, and also introduce resources available to help patients living with this chronic condition.
