There is never a dull moment for me, and my profession itself is always
evolving. A placement exam led me to ultimately decide that nursing
would be the career of my choosing. But that wasn't the only reason nor
was it the most impactful reason. A very long time ago, when I was just a
child, I had a nurse whose impact on me changed the course of my life. I
saw this as a fantastic chance. It made sense because I enjoy learning
new things and science. I can give understanding, compassion, and
respect because I am a nurse and can never fully understand what the
