Week 4: Introduction and Topics
The normal distribution is arguably the most important probability distribution in statistics. It is used in many advanced analysis techniques. This lesson covers how to calculate normal probabilities and how to calculate values within normal probabilities when the probability is given. Both of these strategies are demonstrated using Excel. The end of the lesson introduces the central limit theorem and how the previous strategies change when working with this theorem. Be sure to view the animation on normal probabilities.
