Community Assessment
Mary Hall Freedom Village is located in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The building is clearly visible directly on Roswell Road which is a very busy 4 lane highway with public transportation. There were women gathered outside talking while I drove by. It looks to be a well-cared for, two level building with plenty of room for parking which is accessible only through a secured gate. There is a shopping strip mall within ½ a mile as well as a Publix grocery store. It is an area for business and not residential.
Mary Hall Freedom Village works mainly with women of any age. They are in recovery from an addiction, veterans nearing homelessness, pregnant, IV drug users, and families whose children are in need of support as well.
