Introduction
For this week’s assignment, I choose poetry. In this week’s lesson, it mentioned that poems are” “literary work distinguished by a unique style and rhythm, as well as the expression of thoughts and ideas”. Poems have unique characteristics as mentioned above along with creating meaning. Personally, I am able to share my personal emotions through verbal communication along with an art form such as poetry. An author is able to reflect feelings through their words. “Nevertheless, it is usual for poets to invent narrators who are different from themselves and explore fictitious emotions” (Martin & Jacobus, 2019).
