          Bones that are generated the bone tissue are Osteoprogenitor cells (bone stem cells able to differentiate into the other types of cells). Osteoblasts (bone-building cells that secrete matrix), osteocytes (mature bone cells), and osteoclasts (remodel bones and cause them to release calcium). Compact bone is good at providing protection and support. Spongy bone is lightweight and provides tissue support.

 

The fracture repair steps is a break down in the bone which is a healing process that has three phases in four steps. Phases are: Reactive phase is an early inflammatory phase. Second phase is reparative phase includes formation of a fibro cartilaginous callus first and a bony callus second. Third bone remodeling phase is the last step as the bony callus is remodeled.
